Competitive Salary
Peake’s salary is among the highest-paying early childhood employers in the area. When possible, annual raises and bonuses are provided to staff.
Paid Leave & Holidays*
Employees are provided paid sick and vacation leave that is earned as they work. Additionally, employees are provided a paid winter break and a paid week off in August. Peake also provides paid leave for specific federal holidays throughout the year.
Matching 401k Plan
Employees are eligible to participate in the Center’s 401K plan. Peake provides up to a 7% match for employees with at least one year of employment with the Center.
Health Insurance*
Employees are eligible for health and dental insurance and are able to include family members in the program.

Open Positions
Peake Childhood Center employs qualified teachers, assistant teachers, and substitutes. Peake’s salary is very competitive with other local early childhood centers in the area, and our average salary is higher than the average Virginia salary for childcare teachers and assistants. Additionally, we offer paid leave, paid holidays, health insurance, and a 401K plan with a match. Our staff receives training throughout the year in a caring and family-oriented environment.
