Sliding Scale Tuition
Peake offers the only sliding-scale tuition in the area. A family’s tuition costs are based on their income. Peake can also receive subsidies from Virginia’s Department of Social Services and the military. Tuition payments and fees comprise approximately 19% of the center’s revenue. Donations made by individuals, organizations, and businesses/corporations help cover much of the funding not received through tuition. Grants and local government support also assist in generating much-needed revenue. Want to learn more? Ask our staff or review our Frequently Asked Questions.
